Rod & Whitney Simone were quite familiar with crossing paths when their love story began. The couple attended the same high school briefly but were never in the same circles at the time.

Rod had a major crush on Whitney Simone for over 10 years but she never expressed interest. If you know Rod then you know he’s patient and very persistent! He made his move with no time to spare during a group bowling date with mutual friends in early 2024. He was smooth like the perfect lane. Once Simone finally stopped playing hard to get Rod knew he had to make a move to show her how serious he was.

In June of 2024 he planned a romantic surprise date where he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. In such a short time they’ve built a solid friendship and foundation built on faith, trust, loyalty, and love. The two became inseparable and he knew he had to have Simone until death do them part!

In a small room filled with red roses, balloons, and letters that read MARRY ME.. he dropped to one knee and asked for Simone to spend the rest of her life with him and of course she said YES! Cheers to a marriage filled with love…
